The cost of living rachel ward5/19/2023 ![]() As a mum with 3 children, she could never have afforded the £4.50 each for this lovely hot meal. The friendly lady discreetly gave her a number and directed her and the children to a table and brought them a lovely jacket potato topped with #Heinz baked beans each. She said she went to the counter and whispered for a #AskForHenry. ![]() She said she felt embarrassed, but in desperation she reluctantly went because of her children. ![]() I told her that while I try and sort it out, to please pop to her local Morrisons, go to the Cafe and ask for a #AskHenry Meal that has been advertised. I then learned that her oven hasn’t been working for months, so she and the children can’t have a hot meal. She used the money we gave her from the Employment4ALL Ltd (CIC) Hardship Fund to top up her electricity over the weekend. I want to say a massive shout out to Morrisons, who have really stepped up to help those struggling to afford food amid the cost of living crisis.Ī client of mine who is a lone parent and really struggling with the cost of living crisis, struggling to heat her home and to put food on the table. ![]()
